Owner FAQ
Everything an owner asks in the first week, answered plainly.
What does my cleaner actually do?
They scan the QR card every turnover, tap what's out or low, and send. If nothing is needed, they tap All stocked and confirm, so you know the closet was looked at. No app, no account, no typing. The page works in English and Spanish.
What do I get?
One email per request: what's out (in red), what's low, any note or photo, and a button that opens your Amazon or Walmart cart with those items at your usual quantities. Products from other stores come as links to tap, since only Amazon and Walmart build a cart. Every request is also saved in your account.
Do I have to buy through the links?
No. The cart is a head start, not an obligation. Edit it, ignore it, or shop anywhere. The request is useful either way.
Will every item make it into the cart?
Usually. If a product is out of stock or no longer sold, the store can drop it from the cart, and the cart page names anything it could not add. Give the cart a quick check before you check out. If a product is gone for good, open your Shopping List and use Replace to swap it, on one property or all of them at once.
How do I set up my Shopping List?
Two doors, your choice. Upload by list, link, or file: a whole Amazon List, product links, or a spreadsheet file. Or browse the catalog and pick from the supplies most rentals keep. Either way you set quantities and add or remove anything later.
Does my list have to be finished before I print the QR card?
No. The card points to your live list, not a snapshot. Print it on day one with a handful of items, then add products, fix quantities, and refine whenever you like. Every scan shows the current list, so the card never needs reprinting when the list changes. Items without a store link work too: your cleaner sees them and they arrive in your requests like everything else.
What is the QR card, and what if it's lost or damaged?
A printed card with your property's QR code, usually laminated inside the supply closet. If it's lost, generate a new code in the dashboard and print a fresh card. The old one stops working the moment the new one exists, and the new card opens the same list: nothing about your items or history changes. Every card also has a printed Card ID, so you can restore a previous code yourself.
Can my cleaner be contacted through Restock?
No. Requests are anonymous: no names, no numbers, no personal information about whoever scans. Your relationship with your crew stays where it is.
Who else sees my data?
Only your account, and anyone you invite to it. We may use anonymized, aggregated data for cohort insights, never anything that identifies your property. Full details in the terms.
What does Restock cost?
Restock is $5 per property per month and Restock+ is $8 per property per month. Pilot owners are free through the pilot, and we tell you before that changes: you are never charged without being asked first. Some product links may earn us a small retailer commission at no extra cost to you; when they do, the email says so.
My sign-in link didn't arrive.
Check Spam and Promotions. If you asked more than once, open the newest link, since each new link replaces the last. If the email you typed isn't on an account yet, sign-in says so and offers Request to join.
Where things stand
The pilot, the beta, and what changes for you.
Where is Restock right now?
Moving from a small invite-only pilot into a paid beta. The core (scan, request, cart) is finished and in daily use on real turnovers; newer work like Standard Lists, groups and team members is shipped and settling. You still get a direct line to the person building it, and your feedback still lands fast.
What do you want from me?
Use it for real turnovers and tell us anything that confused you, especially the small stuff. "I didn't know what to tap here" is the most useful thing you can send. No form, no survey: just reply to any Restock email.
Is my data safe as things change?
Your list, requests, and history stay yours. We won't wipe anything to start over, nothing you built in the pilot is lost on the way to the beta, and one email deletes your organization's data if you ever want out.
When does billing start, and what happens to my pilot pricing?
We expect to start taking payments around November 1. Plans are priced per property per month and the numbers are under "What does Restock cost?" above. We will write to you before your first charge, so nothing arrives as a surprise, and your list, properties and history carry straight over.
Something looks broken. What's the fastest way to tell you?
Email support@stayrestocked.com with a screenshot if you have one. You'll usually hear back the same day.

Cleaners don't need an FAQ. The QR card's three steps are the whole manual.
