Managing many properties with Restock

Twenty houses should not mean twenty lists to babysit. This is how a manager sets Restock up once per market, hands the ordering to the right people, and keeps every closet stocked without reading every request personally.

Your properties and groups

Every house gets its own Shopping List and its own QR card, because every closet is different. Add a house from Properties, and if it is like one you already have, copy that house's Shopping List during setup so you start from a full list instead of an empty one.

A group is a market: the houses one person orders for. Put houses in a group from Properties, give the group an alert email, and every Restock Request for a house in that group is copied to that inbox. One alias per market is the whole ask.

Closing a house for the season? Pause it from Property Details. The card keeps working, and the first request a cleaner sends turns the house back on, so a pre-opening inventory is all it takes to relaunch.

The Standard List

A Standard List is the list every house in a market should carry. Make one per market from Account, then set each house to follow it in Property Details. The Standard List is where you decide once; the houses are where the decision lands.

Rename or delete a Standard List from its edit page. Deleting one lets its houses go; their lists keep every item.

Push

Push is add-only. It puts items from the Standard List onto the houses that follow it and never removes anything. Open the Standard List, tap Push, pick the items and the houses, and go. A house showing "6 missing" is missing six of the Standard's items; a house showing nothing already matches.

Compare

Compare shows one house against its Standard: what the house has that the Standard does not, and the other way around. Add all brings the house up to the Standard in one tap. "Removed here" means someone took that item off this house on purpose, and a Push will not put it back.

Replace across properties

When a product goes out of stock or gets discontinued, you do not fix it house by house. On any item, tap Replace across properties, paste the new product's link, and pick the houses that carry the old one. Each house keeps its own quantity. To change a product on one house only, open the item on that house's Shopping List and edit it there.

Adding products in bulk

Add from URL takes product links, up to 150 at a time. It also takes a whole Amazon List: open the list, scroll to the end so every product has loaded, select all, copy, and paste. And it takes a spreadsheet: save it as CSV with a column for the ASIN or link, one for the name, and one for the quantity, up to 150 rows per paste. Longer lists go in two pastes.

People

An Account admin does everything, including inviting people and changing the company details. A Member does the day-to-day work: houses, Standard Lists, groups, lists, requests, carts, and orders. Invite people from Team; you get a link to send them yourself.

When the account has groups, each person can be set to get requests from all properties or from certain groups, so a purchaser for one market never reads another market's requests. A house can also carry extra alert emails of its own, under Property Details.

Ordering across houses

Every Restock Request is one house and one cart, so the person ordering opens the cart, checks out, and taps Mark this order placed. Forward the email to a buyer and the cart button works for them too. Marking it placed needs someone on the account, which is why purchasers get invited rather than copied.

If you buy through Amazon Business, open the cart button while signed in to that account and check that it filled. If it did not, reply to the email and tell us.

One line for your cleaners: if the property WiFi asks them to sign in first, they should use their phone's data for the scan.

Straight from your cleaner to your cart. Stay Restocked.
