Can I bring over the Amazon List I already keep?
Yes, and it is the fastest way to start. Open your List in a browser, select the page, copy, and paste it into Add from URL. Restock reads the product links out of what you pasted and builds your Shopping List from them, names and pictures included. That is an ordinary copy and paste that you do yourself: nothing of ours goes to Amazon to read your list for you. One product link at a time works the same way.
What ends up in the cart, exactly?
The items your cleaner marked, at the quantities you set, and nothing else. The button in the email opens a page on our side listing what is about to go in, so you can change an amount, drop a line, or read the note your cleaner left. Your Amazon cart opens on the tap after that, in your own account. Nothing is ever bought for you.
Does Restock see my Amazon account?
No. Your order history, payment methods, saved addresses, and everything else in your account stay invisible to us. Restock builds a cart link and hands it to you; you sign in on Amazon's side the way you always have.
Do you make money when I order?
Sometimes, and it never changes your price. Stay Restocked is an Amazon Associate, so a purchase made through one of our cart links can pay us a small commission. It is part of how the service stays inexpensive for owners, and every page and email carrying a tagged link says so.
What happens when a product is out of stock or discontinued?
Amazon can drop it from the cart, and the cart page names anything it could not add, so you are not guessing at checkout. When a product is gone for good, open the Shopping List and use Replace to swap in a new one, on that property or across every property that stocks it.
Does this replace Subscribe & Save?
No, and it does not touch it. A subscription is a standing order on a schedule. A Restock Request is what one property actually ran out of this week. Plenty of owners run both: the predictable things arrive on their own, and the closet tells you about the rest.
My property stocks things Amazon does not sell.
That is normal, and an item on your Shopping List does not need a link at all. Your cleaner still sees it, still marks it out or low, and it still arrives in your request on its own line. A Shopping List is what the property stocks, not what one store sells.
Can my cleaner see prices or order anything?
No. Their page is your items with a picture and a name, and that is all of it. There is no price, no store, no cart, and no way to place an order. They tap what is out or low and send. The buying stays with you.
