How Restock works with Walmart
Paste any Walmart link to build your list. Your cleaner flags what's low. One message, one check, then your cart. Nothing is ever bought automatically.
to your cart.
A sample of what your cleaner sees
- This is a sample list. Yours is built from your own Walmart links.
- Tap products the way your cleaner marks them: one tap for getting low, tap the badge for out now.
- Then open your real Walmart cart and watch your picks land in it.
Stay Restocked and Walmart
- Cart links go straight to walmart.com. You check out signed into your own Walmart account.
- Nothing is bought automatically. You review the cart, change what you like, and check out yourself.
- Your Walmart account, order history, payment methods, and saved addresses are never visible to us.
Questions owners ask about Walmart
The rest of the questions are in the owner FAQ.
I keep my supplies in a Walmart list. Can I bring it over?
Yes. Walmart calls it a list or a registry, and Restock reads a copied one. Open yours on walmart.com, select everything on the page, and copy. Paste that into Add from URL and every product row that came across becomes an item, named the way Walmart names it. You are doing an ordinary copy and paste: nothing of ours signs into Walmart or touches anything you did not hand over. One product at a time works too.
Can one property mix Walmart with other stores?
Yes, and most do. A Shopping List is not tied to a store: paste Walmart links for what you buy at Walmart and Amazon links for the rest, and every item keeps its own store. When a request arrives, the email groups them. Walmart items open a Walmart cart, Amazon items open an Amazon cart, and anything from a store that does not build carts arrives as a link to tap.
Does this work with pickup and delivery?
Yes, because Restock stops at the cart. You get a Walmart cart holding the right items and you check out however you normally do: pickup, delivery, or walking in. We never choose a fulfillment method and never place an order.
Do you earn a commission on Walmart orders?
Not today. We add nothing to a Walmart link, so it opens exactly the product page it points at. If that ever changes, the page and the email will say so.
What about Great Value and the other Walmart brands?
They work like anything else on the list. Paste the product link and it becomes an item with its own name and picture. Store brands are a large part of why owners shop Walmart for supplies, and nothing here treats them as a special case.
What if an item is out of stock at my store?
Walmart stock is a local thing, so an item can be sitting on the shelf at one store and gone at another. When Walmart will not take one, the cart page says which item it refused, so you find out before checkout instead of after. For something discontinued outright, use Replace on the Shopping List and every property carrying that product picks up the new one.
Does my cleaner need a Walmart account?
No. Your cleaner never sees a store at all. They scan the card in the supply closet, tap what is out or low, and send. No account, no app, no sign-in, and nothing for you to set up on their side.
Can I add something Walmart does not carry?
Yes. A link is optional on an item. Your cleaner sees the name, marks it out or low, and it comes through in the request on its own line, ready for you to take care of wherever you buy it. What a property stocks is never limited to what one website carries.
How much work is the second property?
Much less than the first. Copy a Shopping List from one property to the next and change what is different. The Walmart links come with it, so the setup that took a sitting the first time takes a few minutes after that.
Shopping at Amazon, Costco, or Sam’s too? Restock handles those as well. See the Amazon page or the club stores page.
